  • Updates to the eProtein Discovery Software

eProtein Discovery™ (Cloud) Software release

  • Improvements to the Scale-up Data tab for Experiments
The scale up graph is now downloadable. Users are able to enter their scale up results, including the elution volume they used and their method for quantifying the protein yield. When the method used is the eProtein Quantification kit, the software will calculate the prediction accuracy.

  • Improvements to protein entry
Users are able to finalize multiple proteins rather than one-by-one. Downloading a batch of protein sequences is restricted to finalized proteins only. Protein sequences that have been entered as DNA and contain an internal stop codon display a warning but can be finalized.

  • Support for instrument setup and registration
There is a new area in Settings which is used for the initial instrument setup.

  • Minor bug fixes and security updates

eProtein Discovery™ Instrument Software release

  • Instrument setup and registration and factory reset enabled
The instrument will be shipped in factory reset mode and will need to be set up and registered to the Cloud Software following this guide: Cloud Connectivity and Setup guide. Once it is set up, it is possible to switch it to low-bandwidth mode, to do a factory reset and to switch it to standalone mode.
